VINYL FABRICATOR POSITION:
We have an immediate opening for a full-time Vinyl Fabricator. This is a vital position within our company and requires onsite attendance.
VINYL FABRICATOR SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interpret blueprints and sketches accurately.
- Accurately read measurements.
- Working hands-on with tools and technology to process, fabricate and construct metal components.
- Utilize design software: Corel Draw, Flexi Sign and Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Operate equipment; including, but not limited to (plotters, multi-cam, press-breaks, shears, cutting tables, forklifts, etc.)
- Test functionality of components.
- Troubleshooting and performing minor repairs or replacement components for installation.
- Analyze notes in our database for specific orders and determine the right workflow based on those notes.
- Keep the work area organized and clean.
- Manage workflow for your assigned workstations for duration of a project.
- Perform quality checks on completed projects throughout the life of the project.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Adhere to all safety protocols.
VINYL FABRICATOR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with vinyl laying (required)
- Adequate knowledge, experience and proficiency using tools and equipment operation like running Plotters, Multicams or other CNC machines.
- Software proficient in Corel Draw and/or FlexiSign (preferred)
- AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and other design software is helpful, not required.
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs without physical restrictions.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, climb, and pull on a consistent basis.
- Possesses a sense of urgency and comfort level to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates clear and professional written and oral communication.
- Accurately follow verbal and written instructions.
- Adequate knowledge and experience using computer systems.

VINYL FABRICATOR EDUCATION:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) (preferred, not required)
VINYL FABRICATOR COMPENSATION:
- Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week.
- Pay Range is $18.00 to $26.00 depending on experience.

Bootz & Duke Sign Company was small at first, specializing mostly in hand lettering and painted signs. Over the course of the next 10 years, Bootz & Duke Sign Company successfully grew into a full-service sign company.
1964: Founded by Charlie Bootz and Jim Duke
1978: Jim Duke retired and his son Jeff Duke took over partial ownership with Charlie Bootz and his wife Nellie Bootz.
2006: Charlie Bootz and Nellie Bootz retire. Bill Gibson and Cindy Gibson step in as the new owners. Joining them is Andy Gibson as President and Charlie Gibson as Vice President-- along with many devoted Bootz and Dukes employees.
